Course Overview
This diploma covers repair and servicing of electronic consumer equipment – from radio and tape recorders to black & white and colour TVs, cameras, inverters and remote systems. Emphasis is on circuit study, voltage checking, fault location and practical repairing so students can work in electronics service centres or start their own repair unit.

Transistor receiver – circuit study, plate assembling, band switch and tuning
Tape recorder – circuit study, assembling, stereo system theory and repairing
Black & White TV – block diagram, circuit study, voltage checking and repair
Portable TV – circuit study, location, measuring and checking
Colour TV – circuit study, tracing, repairing, alignment and general knowledge of models
Video camera – theory, operation, repairing and shooting method
Emergency light, voltage stabilizer and inverter circuits
Remote control and other useful TV-related circuits
